First day of July, Wimbledon has started and England beat India in the cricket, plenty of sunshine forecast for the forthcoming weeks. We have now dismantled one of the tower cranes and the passenger lifts in Core B are now available for beneficial use. The month of June was particularly busy with visits from Anthony Loke, The Transport Minister from Malaysia, His Excellency Charles Hay, MVO, the British High commissioner to Malaysia and a large contingent from Stockholm, Sweden, looking at a large over rail development in their Capital City.
We still have a few cladding panels to install on the top floor Block D but these works will be finished in July. In terms of internal fit out works, partitioning for B and C is complete and Block D is up to level 6.
We have a complete programme for kitchen and bathroom installations and are currently installing on the 8th floor, Block B. The sprinkler systems have been installed up to the 12th floor, Block B and 6th floor, Block C. Underfloor heating for B and C are fully installed and Block D has commenced. Flooring is now up to 7th floor in Block B and ceilings are now being closed off up to the 12th floor.
Both of the passive air vents in the first floor communal garden areas now covered.
First of the windows being installed into the retail area fronting Royal Mint Street.
